How to take care Bamboo Palm Plant
Bamboo palms are generally low maintenance and can tolerate a variety of conditions, making them a popular indoor plant.
Bamboo palms prefer bright, indirect light or shade, and should be kept out of direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
Bamboo palms like well-drained soil that’s consistently moist, but shouldn’t sit in water. Allow the top inch or third of the soil to dry out before watering.
Use a well-draining potting mix, preferably one formulated for palms or tropical plants.
Bamboo palms prefer average to warm temperatures between 65–80°F (18–27°C). They also enjoy a humid environment, so you can place them in a warm, humid space or mist them regularly.
Feed your bamboo palm monthly during the spring and summer with a fertilizer high in nitrogen at half the recommended strength. A balanced blend with an NPK ratio of 12-4-12 is ideal. Don’t fertilize if the plant isn’t actively growing or if the soil is very dry.
